CSN is the national authority handling the
Swedish financial aid for students; i.e. loans and grants for
studies for persons who meet certain criteria.
Swedish students can apply for Study Grants in our school.
We offer special prices for students participating
in our language courses and enroled for at least 13 weeks in
an Italian language
course with accommodation in a shared apartment or hotel.
Our Italian language school is recognized by CSN Lund - Sweden
(Swedish National Board of Student Aid). All Swedish
students can accordingly apply for study grants to enrol in our Italian
courses in Castiglioncello.
How to receive study grants for CSN - Study Italian abroad

- To receive study grants you must enrol for an Italian
language course with a minimum duration of 13 weeks. We offer special prices
for this.
- You need to apply for student aid for studies abroad using CSN's
form 5501.
- To receive CSN student aid, you must study at our Italian
language school. You must be enroled in the Italian
language course prior to your application for student aid.
- You must take a final exam for our Italian language
courses. Only then will you be entitled to receive student aid).
This exam can be either the internal exam from our Italian
language school or one of the official exams (like CIC, CELI or
CILS), which are only available on
specific dates.
- Student aid for studies abroad Italy can be granted to persons
who are Swedish citizens. There are special regulations for
foreign citizens who are studying or living in Sweden.
- Over the past five years, you must have been a resident of
Sweden for at least two consecutive years.
To qualify for financial student aid for studies abroad, you
must also have some sort of ties to Sweden.

- Basic eligibility for CSN: If you are going to study a non-academic
language course, you must have the upper secondary education
level that is necessary to be accepted for higher education in Sweden.
CSN can make exceptions if there are special reasons.
- If you apply for student aid for a language course, you should
submit the Italian language form Italian 5513 together
with your application for student aid to the CSN Agency. The
Pasolini language school will send you a signed copy of this
form after your enrolment as proof of admission.

how to fill for CSN
- CSN grant or loan covers the costs for the Italian language
course. However, you can also apply to receive an additional loan for e.g. travel,
residence or insurance. Please contact CSN for further details.
You may choose any of our accommodation options, apartment
or hotel. The price depends on the season you want to visit
our CSN language course in Italy. If you are looking for a cheap
accommodation, we recommend that you avoid August.
